The wedge is a small hat of the Middle Ages made of cotton, worn by the common people to protect themselves from the heat and the cold but also by the knights before covering their helmet. It can be gambreled. Soldiers and Templars of the Middle Ages also appreciated it. This wedge will complete your medieval costumes, will protect you from the sun, alone or wet under a hat.
